blah! i'm such an awful human. i need to honestly put this keeping up with a blog thing into action. sickening! i believe i've decided to make this 80% music related with a dash of whatevertheheckiwanttoblogabout-ness. i think this will better increase my ability to achieve better motivation for blogging. sound good? good.

What a weekend! I know i'm a tad bit behind since it is tuesday but I think i'm just still reminiscing on the weekend I had. For one, my great friend Hannah, whom I've known for years, came to visit me/look for a place to live since she is moving up to Denton. We spent the day saturday in Dallas sipping coffee, reading our current books and occasionally pausing to engage in conversation. After relaxing with coffee we headed to this yoga studio where our great friends The Stolen Season were playing a show for a art night called "Common Unity". What fun that was! Though it was loud because we were in a yoga studio room, it was so neat to see them play while talented people painted, colored & were drawing what they wanted on the paper placed on the wall near the band. After their own songs The Stolen Season was asked to just jam out while more and more people went to add their own work of art to the wall. Each person who wanted to add their own shared with the next. My friend katie and I also did our part in the piece and had fun coloring and drawing. Needless to say, it was a wonderful and unique night.

heres a peek at the finished project. :)
